Narcissistic people in their perversely empty ways
Think I’m here just to be enthralled
Narcissistic people with their boundless, repressed rage
Want me to think they’ve got it all
Mirror, mirror, me
More important than your love or respect is your envy
Into each life a little rain must fall
But when there’s no soul inside
The fact is you don’t feel nothing at all
Everywhere I go, the same pathetic song:
“Me, me, me, now sing along”
But when the sun goes down
There’s nothing else hanging around but the mirror on the wall
Narcissistic people, all I know and all I see
From my local Doc to the Tea Party
MBAs and CEOs, the preacher and the preached
Seems like it’s everyone but me
Mirror, mirror, me
More important than your love or respect is your envy
Into each life a little rain must fall
But when there’s no soul inside
The fact is you don’t feel nothing at all
Everywhere I go, the same pathetic song
Me, me, me, now sing along
But when the sun goes down
There’s nothing else hanging around but the mirror on the wall
But when the sun goes down
There’s nothing else hanging around but the mirror on the wall
