Life in a mirror, that’s me there
Life in a mirror, that’s me there
But that doesn’t mean that I have a history
There’s no history
Or that I am a mystery
There’s no mystery here
Just a face in the mirror
Sometimes I think I owe it to myself to settle down and to sort out what it’s all about
But the only people doing that are out of work and look like crap so who the hell wants a piece of that?
Meanwhile, the earth shakes and meanwhile the young mate and meanwhile we’re all fakes but some fakes are good fakes
Lose and you’ll be standing in the wrong line
It’s a pragmatic world. It’s a bureaucratic world
It’s a therapeutic world. It’s an Asiatic world.
It’s a theocratic world. It’s a dogmatic world.
It’s an aromatic world. It’s a problematic world.
It’s an operatic world. It’s a cinematic world.
It’s an acrobatic world. It’s an asthmatic world.
It’s an autocratic world. It’s a charismatic world.
It’s a post-traumatic world. It’s a democratic world!
Life in a mirror, that’s me there
Life in a mirror, that’s me there
But that doesn’t mean that I have a history
There’s no history
Or that I am a mystery
There’s no mystery here
Just a face in the mirror
Just a face in the mirror
Just a face in the mirror
